About Tauwhiro
We all know the power of a good haircut or a great cup of coffee, and at Tauwhiro, that feeling is amplified by the power of community.
Tauwhiro is different from other salons. In addition to our standard salon services, Tauwhiro works with local providers to provide free or low-cost services to people who need them.

When people connect, the whole community benefits. Our services may be practical - a haircut, a coffee, some kai - but we believe the real power of Tauwhiro is in our ability to offer an inclusive space where positive social interactions can thrive.
Tauwhiro provides exceptional cut and colour services to clients throughout Marlborough, and kai and coffee in our attached cafe space. We aim to uplift everyone who comes through our doors, in a community space where everyone feels welcome.
